Volunteer Opportunity

Here are the details:

Qualifications:
 The Registrar must be a resident of Ontario, a Gilwellian, and be a fully
registered member in good standing with Scouts Canada or a Category # 1 - B.P. Guild member.
 Skills needed for this position are to be proficient in Excel (formulas & merging),emails, good time management skills and database management. 
 Is a Member of the Executive Committee and is a voting member of the Reunion Committee.

 The Contingent of which the Registrar is a member will be entitled to have an elected member on Committee.
 The Reunion Committee shall renew the Registrar appointed position yearly, up to but not limited to 5 years.
  Must be able to attend meetings on the 1 st Saturday of Dec, Feb, May in Acton, and on Friday morning, contingent rep meeting Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon at Reunion at BSSR

 

General Details:
 Work with Secretary for list of current Contingent Reps.
 Be responsible for left-over souvenirs and bring them to each Reunion to be sold.
 Have the registration package ready by May 1 for approval so it can be sent out by May 15.
 Manage and confirm registration numbers coming in by July 1 so that the supporting Committee Contingent can order souvenirs by July 10.
 If any missing information, you need to contact the contingent rep to get it completed.
 Work with the supporting Committee Contingent who is doing registration, who are responsible ordering the wristbands, crests, pins and souvenirs by July 10,so they can get things order in a timely manner.
 Work with the Treasurer to make sure that all Contingents attending reunion have paid.
 Be responsible for setting up the Registration tent/area so the that the supporting committee contingent can maned it
 Submit the list of names and myscouts numbers to Scouts Canada for the screening process to be completed by August 15.
 Maintain a list of all those attending by contingent and in alphabetical order.
 Have 2 packing slips per contingent so that the souvenirs can be sort at reunion which you will oversee on Thursday morning.
 Have one sheet per Contingent name printed off so sorting can go smoothly with the supporting Contingent.
 Must be on site from Thursday morning till Sunday afternoon.

 Do a report for December’s meeting on how things went or any changes to thejob description and send it to the Secretary.
